Once a month, CVH Cardiology offers new and follow-up appointments for our patients in the Yerington area. An advanced practice cardiology provider from our clinic will see you at South Lyon Medical Center.

Advanced Cardiac Care in our Cath Lab

A highlight of our cardiology program is our hybrid cardiac catheterization lab/interventional radiology lab, starting Fall 2024 as part of CVH’s multimillion-dollar expansion project. This state-of-the-art facility is staffed and equipped to diagnose and treat problems with the heart’s blood supply or rhythm without surgery.

Interventional cardiologists and other experts who work in the cath lab perform minimally invasive procedures such as angiograms, angioplasty, stenting, ablations, pacemaker implants, and peripheral artery and vein repair. This means you don’t have to travel far from home and your loved ones when you need an advanced cardiac test or procedure.

Cardiac Rehabilitation

Many people can benefit from cardiac rehab, including those who have a history of:  

• Heart attack. 
• Coronary artery disease.  
• Angina (chest discomfort).

Cardiac Tests

Our cardiology team provides a variety of tests that can check the health of your heart and help decide what kind of treatment you may need, including:

• Electrocardiogram (EKG) tests: walk-ins only; test performed Monday-Friday 8AM-5:30PM
• Echocardiography, which uses sound waves to detect heart problems.
• Holter Monitors: BioTel MCOT and ePatch
• Nuclear Medicine Chemical and Treadmill stress tests
• Exercise stress tests
