Located on the ground floor of the Ironwood Medical Center, Carson Valley Health’s (CVH) Ironwood Specialty Care clinic is rapidly expanding to meet the healthcare needs for our community.
In 2022 the specialty clinic welcomed two new physicians, adding Urology and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to its ever growing list of outpatient services. Both Dr. Cunningham and Dr. Tomita are passionate about improving our community’s access to top quality outpatient care close to home and have something unique to offer CVH patients.

For nearly 30 years, urologist Dr. Cunningham has cared for patients in the Gardnerville region with compassion. He has extensive experience treating patients with health conditions that affect their urinary-tract system and reproductive organs, such as:

Dr. Tomita has substantial experience treating disorders and injuries affecting the bones, brain, joints, ligaments, muscles, nerves, spinal cord, and tendons.
