A doctor treating a patient with diabetes can order glucose and creatinine tests as well as an A1C, and the analyzer will run all three tests from the same collection tube at the same time. It automatically moves the sample through the testing process and reseals it so it’s ready if the doctor needs a follow-up. Those results are then delivered electronically to the doctors, completing the loop quickly and efficiently.
This automated workflow increases the laboratory’s tests per hour by 2.5x and expands the testing menu available to doctors and patients. This enables more tests to be performed in-house, delivering faster results with fewer blood draws and greater efficiency. Because the system uses the same standards as larger medical centers, doctors can trust the results, like when patients are transferred or share records with other facilities.
