In addition to its use in screening, a colonoscopy may be used to evaluate various symptoms, such as rectal bleeding or changes in bowel habits.
Endoscopy. This procedure uses a scope with an attached camera to see inside the first part of your digestive tract—from your esophagus to your duodenum. It can be used to evaluate symptoms such as swallowing problems, acid reflux and more.
