Courtney Carmichael Hight, PT, DPT, earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Nevada, Reno. She first came to CVH as a student physical therapist and knew she wanted to return after becoming licensed, drawn to the supportive team and strong sense of community.
Courtney treats both pediatric and adult patients, finding great fulfillment in helping children reach important developmental milestones while guiding patients of all ages back to the activities and sports they love. She is passionate about creating meaningful progress and empowering each patient throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Outside of work, Courtney enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons and caring for their lively self-proclaimed “fish sanctuary.” She loves being outdoors and can often be found skiing, scuba diving, ice skating, hiking, or biking. She also enjoys gardening, baking, creating epoxy crafts, and making wreaths. Courtney is actively involved in the community, running the Healing Garden at CVH and volunteering at Zephyr Cove Elementary School and Whittell High School for classroom and athletic events, including track meets. A fun fact about Courtney is that she was selected to be a trainer in the Dolphin Show at Sea World.
