Carson Valley Health is pleased to welcome Kane Deem, Physician Assistant-Certified, to the Cancer Care team. He joins Jed Freeman, MD.
Mr. Deem has over 20 years of experience in medicine, in both Oncology and Urgent Care settings. A longtime resident of Carson Valley, he is eager to connect with and treat the patients of his community.
“I look forward to building rapport with patients. As a physician assistant, I collaborate with the care team and use all tools available to provide the best care possible,” said Mr. Deem. He added that he wants patients to feel like they can contact CVH Cancer Care whenever they have questions for himself or Dr. Freeman, so they receive help navigating their diagnosis and treatment without having to wait for an appointment. Ensuring patients don’t have to travel for their care and have help when they are scared is critical to Mr. Deem.
Mr. Deem is deeply connected to Carson Valley. He and his wife are raising their three active children here and coach youth soccer. In addition to coaching, Kane is an avid road and mountain bike rider and loves skiing.
