Carson Valley Health is thrilled to welcome Heather Wetmore, Physician Assistant, Certified (PA-C), to the Primary Care at Minden Village team. With a strong background in primary care and a passion for helping patients live healthier lives, Heather brings compassionate, comprehensive care to families across the Carson Valley.
After eight years’ experience in the medical field, Heather is excited to help the Carson Valley community. A career in healthcare has always been her goal. She’s found purpose in the medical field and enjoys serving the community, making every person’s day a little better.
The family environment is what drew Heather to Carson Valley Health. “I enjoyed the people here when I came to the interview. I heard great things about CVH, especially that it has a close family environment within its staff, which drew me here. I’m excited to work with the people in Minden and Gardnerville.” Heather added, “I would like my patients to know that I hope to make them feel comfortable so they can come to me with their issues, and we’ll be able to talk through things together.”
Heather’s love for Lake Tahoe and the outdoors makes Carson Valley the perfect community to continue her career. Outside of work, you will find Heather playing beach volleyball and taking long walks in nature with her husband.
