CVH Expansion Plan

Expanding to Meet Evolving Healthcare Needs

It’s our vision to strengthen our community through the services we provide. As the community needs changes, so does the need for healthcare services. We have spent the last decade growing into the space we have in our various facilities to provide the current scope of services. In the past five years, we have seen significant growth in volumes in almost every service that Carson Valley Health provides. Some services are at capacity with others at capacity very soon without a physical expansion of space.

After comprehensive analysis of the community’s needs; CVH’s partnerships within the community, region and healthcare industry; and our financial readiness to undergo a major construction and expansion project – our strategic and master facility plan will bring CVH’s services and facilities to the next level to continue to support the needs of the community as they are now and as we anticipate them to be in the future. The expansion project broke ground in October 2021 and opened for business in December 2024.
