We offer outpatient urology services at Ironwood Specialty Care clinic, located on the ground floor of the Ironwood Medical Center. Whether you need an evaluation for new symptoms or you’re dealing with an ongoing condition, you have convenient access to a full range of diagnostic tests and treatments.

We offer treatments and procedures to address most urologic conditions right here, with no need to travel. That includes:

• Vasectomy.
• Urethral dilation to treat strictures in the urethra.
• Botox injections for overactive bladder.
• Percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation (PTNS) therapy, a nonsurgical way to treat overactive bladder by stimulating a nerve near the ankle.
• Laser lithotripsy for kidney stones.
• Bladder tumor removal.
• Surgery for BPH.
• Catheter management, such as Foley and suprapubic catheter care and exchanges.

When needed, we work with physical therapists at CVH to care for you. Their expertise in pelvic floor strengthening is often helpful when managing conditions such as incontinence.

We also offer comprehensive diagnostic care, including many procedures performed in-office, as well as surgical procedures when needed. Some common tests and procedures include:

• Cystoscopy, to look inside the bladder to determine the source of symptoms.
• Prostate ultrasound and other imaging tests.
• Prostate biopsies.

• Urine flow testing.

How to schedule a visit with our urology clinic

You do not need a referral from a doctor to visit our urology clinic. The only time you might need one is if your insurance provider requires it.
