Carson Valley Health is delighted to welcome Hannah Gulisano, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), to the Senior Care team. Hannah brings a strong passion for helping people, specifically patients age 65 and over.
With 11 years’ experience as a nurse, Hannah is excited to bring her skills and passion to Carson Valley Health. Living in Nevada for the past six years, she is excited and motivated to help the Carson Valley community.
For Hannah, helping people isn’t new; it is something that runs in the family. “My mom is actually a nurse. She started out as an ICU nurse, which is what I was before becoming an APRN and hearing her stories sounded interesting and rewarding,” said Hannah. While working in ICU for the past decade, she found that she connected with her older patients on a deeper level, creating a profound passion for senior care. Being driven and goal oriented is something that she has made a focus throughout her journey to this point. “I was pregnant all through grad school, but I just didn’t want to wait, these were my goals, and I knew I was just going to have figure it out along the way.”
Her family is important to Hannah, making Carson Valley the perfect place to settle down and continue her career. Outside of work you will find Hannah hiking and spending time with her husband and two small children.
