Carson Valley Health Foundation Receives Generous $5,000 Grant
We are thrilled to announce that Carson Valley Health Foundation has received a generous $5,000 grant from the SilverSummit Healthplan Rural Community Investment Program! This incredible support will go to enhancing the Nutrition Education Program at Carson Valley Health, empowering our community with the knowledge and tools to lead healthier lives.

"I'm deeply thankful for the opportunity to use these funds to improve health outcomes in our rural community," says Sarah Montgomery, Registered Dietitian at CVH. "This grant allows us to create new outpatient materials, supply patients with essential nutrition-related resources, and extend nutrition education and counseling to community members who lack insurance coverage for these services. Through these initiatives, we're not just supporting individual health—we're building a healthier Douglas County as a whole."

Thank you, SilverSummit Healthplan, for helping us make a meaningful impact on the well-being of our community. Together, we are building a healthier future!
